Aneta loves traveling, hiking and being in nature and can't wait to join us in Lofoten, a place that has been on her bucketlist.
Aneta is a hoop dance instructor from the Czech Republic with over a decade of experience in the flow arts.
She works mainly with smooth flow and original tricks that naturally connect within movement,
with a current focus on multi hoop manipulation and silk fans.
Aneta creates her own hoop vocabulary, and her distinctive style often inspires others to explore new pathways in their flow.
Alongside teaching, she is the founder of @Hooplanet.cz, where she handcrafts
high-quality props for the international flow arts community.
For the Hoop’n’Hike retreat, Aneta is especially excited about the intimate setting and the connection with nature.
Working with a small group of hoopers allows space for an individual approach, deeper sharing, and time to truly get to know each other — both on and off the hoop. Nature has always been an important part of her life; after spending many years living abroad, hiking and time in the mountains became a natural source of inspiration.
She believes that spending time, moving, and connecting in the Lofoten Islands will be truly special.

Your host, hiking guide and hoop instructor
initiated Scandinavias first hula hoop retreat back in 2017,
the Hoop N Hike retreat.
Since then she has hosted 9 retreats all together.
The first Winter retreat happened in 2024, the second one in 2025 and now she is more than excited to welcome you back to the summer version of Hoop N Hike.
Well accustomed to bringing tourists out in to nature, as she worked as a local guide for several years, Elisabeth claims that
snowshoeing is easy to do for anyone,
also first timers on snow.
Elisabeth glimmers when she can share
her passion with others,
and can't wait to have you here!
Doing hula hooping in the arctic has brought some attention to Elisabeth and her business.
Some fun facts :

where she taught
Bradley and Barney Walsh to do fire hooping here in Lofoten.
*In 2019 Ho Rockeringdama was inspiration for a charcter in Trygve Luktvasslimos film
"Shallow Water Black Out"

Hoop n Hike manager assistant and breakfast chef
Since the very start of the Hoop n Hike retreat back in 2017 Sophie has been part of the retreat team. Flying over from Belgium, assisting Elisabeth and also making sure we start our day with a nourishing breakfast, her lovely presence is well received amongst our guest. She also adds her charm with her creativity in our visual appearance, and not to forget,
her stage performances always a thrill to see.

Our host and eminent dinner chef at Lyngværstua.
Cecilie bought Lyngværstua a few years back and have created a magical place for small and intimate gatherings, retreats and workshops. She also pursued her new passion Ceramics and have her own workshop in the basement of the house.
She loves being in the beauty of the Lofoten nature, and this inspires her ceramics as well.
Cecilie gives us a warm welcome, have the loveliest and most contagious laughter as well as keeping our taste buds happy with her home cooked and tasty dinners.
